I had a promising interview for a personal trainer position at EoS Fitness last Tuesday. The fitness manager liked me and suggested I interview for the assistant fitness manager (AFM) role instead. I interviewed for the AFM position on Friday and was told I’d get the job. We discussed hours, pay, and onboarding, and I was instructed to apply online for the position so they could process it. I completed the application on Saturday but haven’t received any email confirmation as promised by Monday. It’s now 5:05 PM on Monday, and after following up with the interviewer, he read my message but hasn’t replied in three hours. I’m feeling anxious about being ghosted again after past experiences. Should I be worried, or is it possible that there’s just a delay in the approval process?
