I recently applied for a UX role and was really hopeful after reaching out to several contacts on LinkedIn. However, I received a surprising message back stating that the job offer was actually created by someone who hacked their account. They clarified that they aren't hiring for any UX positions at the moment. While it's disappointing, I have to admit that the creativity of the rejection was a bit refreshing compared to the usual generic responses or being ghosted. It seems like I'm not alone in feeling the pressure of the current job market.
