I just got laid off from my position as a Graphic Designer. Unfortunately, I was still in my probation period, and the Managing Director decided to let me go as soon as possible. It's a tough situation, and I'm feeling pretty down about it. I remember someone mentioning that the probation period can be brutal, and I guess I experienced that firsthand. I'm planning to take a couple of days to decompress before I start sending out applications. I've heard the design market is a bit unpredictable right now, but I'm hopeful that something will come up.
