I recently made the decision to leave my job, even though it was a decent position. I realized it just wasn't the right fit for me. After taking some time to reassess my priorities, I found myself back in the job market. In the past, I always created my resumes using Microsoft Word, but this time I decided to try out a resume builder called BetterCV. I was pleased with how the design turned out; it looked much cleaner and more professional without requiring a lot of time for edits. I eventually landed an interview, and during the conversation, the recruiter mentioned something interesting. She said that candidates who use resume builders often come across as more engaged and proactive because of the effort they put into crafting their resumes. It made me think about how presentation might play a role in the hiring process. I'm curious if others have had similar experiences or thoughts on this topic.
