I recently graduated with a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering in 2023, but I've been out of the workforce for about three years. Currently, I'm living in a village in Bihar and planning to relocate to Kolkata, where I’ll stay with a friend near Sealdah/Salt Lake Sector V. My technical skills are basic; I know some Java, HTML/CSS, and very little SQL, but I lack any real-world coding experience or a Git portfolio. My only work experience was a few months as a Document Verification/Operations Executive in Noida, which turned out to be a tough environment with unpredictable shifts and constant monitoring. I had to leave due to burnout, and now that’s the only corporate experience I have on my resume. Financially, I'm in a crisis with no savings and heavy debt. I need to find a job that provides a regular salary within the next 2 to 4 weeks to keep myself afloat. Unfortunately, I don't own a laptop or PC, and my phone is broken, making it impossible to practice coding or work on projects until I can buy a secondhand machine with my own earnings. Additionally, my spoken English isn't strong, which makes me anxious about job interviews and professional communication. I can read and write basic English, but I struggle with fluency and presentations. I'm feeling stuck and overwhelmed, especially as a CSE graduate without a coding job. I'm reaching out for practical advice on realistic career paths that don't involve the typical coding rat race.
