My only experience has been babysitting for family and friends, which hasn’t been a significant commitment. Thankfully, my financial aid covers my college expenses, and I’m living independently with a roommate. Despite my situation, I really want to find a job—any job, honestly. I’ve been applying through Indeed but haven’t heard back from anyone. I even asked ChatGPT for help creating a resume with my limited experience, which includes 150 hours of volunteer work from high school, along with some awards and honors. I’m wondering if I should start going in person to apply, as my parents suggested, or if that’s an outdated approach. I’ve been told that at my age, having a resume isn’t the only factor; attitude matters too. I’m a hard worker and very upfront, but I’m not sure how to showcase that effectively. Any advice on how to improve my chances would be greatly appreciated!
