I had my first interview for a role at a company on July 7th with HR and then with the hiring manager on July 10th. It's now been over three weeks, and despite sending a follow-up email on July 21st, I haven't received any response. I'm starting to feel anxious because in all my previous job experiences, I typically heard back within a week. I'm wondering if this silence is a bad sign or if it's just the way things are in the current job market. Has anyone else gone through something similar? Am I being too impatient or unrealistic?
