After a year of job searching, I received two offers: weighing my options

After nearly a year of being laid off, I finally received two job offers! It's been a tough journey, especially as the sole breadwinner for my family. I've been a backend engineer for over 15 years, and after sending out hundreds of applications and facing countless rejections, I was starting to lose hope. The first offer is for a Senior Software Engineer position with a base salary of $158k and a total compensation of around $200k. The second offer is from a FAANG company for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role, with a base salary of $240k and a total compensation of approximately $330k, including stocks and bonuses. Both positions are located in the Bay Area. Now, I'm weighing my options and wondering which offer to accept. Is it a bad idea to take the SDET role? Will I have the opportunity to transition back to a Software Engineer role in the future? I'm feeling relieved to have these offers, but I want to make the right choice for my career.
