I've been on the job hunt lately, and I've noticed a frustrating trend. Every time I apply for a position, I end up receiving a rejection email shortly after. It feels disheartening, especially when I don't even get the chance to interview. I can't help but wonder why companies bother sending these emails if they're not going to consider me further. I shared my thoughts with some fellow job seekers, and it turns out that many of them feel the same way. Some suggested that the rejection emails are just a part of an automated system that companies use, which makes it less personal. Others pointed out that at least I’m not being ghosted, which is a common complaint among applicants. Despite the automated nature of these responses, it still stings to see the rejection. I wish there was more feedback provided, as it could help me improve my applications. For now, I guess I just have to keep pushing through and apply to more positions.
