Reflections on My Call Center Job Applications and Ongoing Search

I recently reflected on my experiences in the job market, particularly in the call center industry. This year, I applied for three positions, all related to inbound calls. One job I won't go into detail about felt like a sweatshop, which was a huge red flag for me. I did consider two reputable call centers; however, I turned one down and had a strange experience with the other that felt like a bait and switch. My instincts were telling me to leave, and I listened. Now, I'm still on the hunt for a job, but I find myself questioning how others manage to stay in call center roles for extended periods. I've heard jokes about how the smartest people often don't last through training, and that seems to resonate with my experience as I struggled to make it through. My current job search strategy has been to apply for anything I can find, but I realize that this approach may not be the best way forward.
