It’s disheartening to see how the coffee industry treats its workers, often promising full-time hours but delivering only part-time shifts. Now, I’m left without a job and facing financial uncertainty. The owner, Tohm Ifergan, didn’t even have the decency to inform us directly about the closure. It’s frustrating to see how much passion we put into our work, only to be discarded without consideration for our livelihoods. I still care about the community and the other baristas affected by this situation, even if the company’s leadership doesn’t seem to share that concern.
