Applied for a quarry position to improve mental health despite pay cut

I'm currently a senior process operator in the mining industry, earning $55 an hour. Lately, I've been struggling with my mental health due to management issues, changes in my work scope, unrealistic expectations, and long workdays that last 11 hours, plus a 45-minute commute each way. I've been looking to leave my current job for some time now. Recently, I received an offer from a recruitment agency for a quarry position that involves more mobile equipment and fixed plant operations, like crushers and excavators, which I'm interested in learning. However, the pay would drop by $10 to $15 an hour. Financially, we're not in the best shape, but we could manage if I took the pay cut. The pay is expected to increase once I transition from casual to full-time within six months. I'm really torn about whether I'm making a mistake by considering this opportunity for my mental health.
