Navigating My Resume After Being Laid Off as a Director at a Startup

I was recently laid off from my dream role as a director after just 4 months at a startup. It was a tough experience, especially since 75% of my department was let go. I truly loved my team and my boss, and I felt like I made a significant impact during my short time there. Now, I'm faced with a dilemma about my resume. Should I keep this position on my resume, or should I remove it entirely since it was such a brief tenure? Some of my former coworkers suggested that I should take it off because it was so short, while I believe the experience I gained was invaluable. This is my first time being laid off, and I’m looking for guidance on the best approach.
