I recently received a job offer for a position and was given a start date of July 23rd. I completed all the necessary onboarding paperwork, including a background check and an I-9 form, which went through without any issues. However, just as I was preparing to start, I received an email stating that the company has decided to move forward with other candidates. I'm feeling really confused and disappointed, especially since I have a clean background and fulfilled all the onboarding requirements. I'm not sure what went wrong or why this happened.
