I recently started a new job search and I'm facing a potential issue with my resume. I was placed at a client company by a staffing and training agency, and while my resume lists the client company where I worked and my actual job title, the background check will show the staffing agency as my legal employer with a title like "Trainee." I'm concerned that this mismatch might raise some flags since the two names and titles don't seem related. I've been completely truthful on my resume, but I'm unsure if this discrepancy will cause any problems during the hiring process. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Should I proactively reach out to my recruiter or the onboarding team to discuss this before it becomes an issue?
