Applied for entry-level sales associate role at a telecom company with promising earnings

I recently applied for an entry-level sales associate position at a large telecommunications solutions company and had two phone calls with their recruiter. The first call was focused on selling me the company and answering my questions, while the second call was to set up an in-person interview. The role comes with a 45k base salary, which supposedly increases as my sales performance improves, along with full benefits and six weeks of training, including a trip to their headquarters for five days. The recruiter mentioned that first-year earnings for a 'C player' could be between 80-90k and for an 'A player' between 100-115k, which sounds incredible for a recent grad like me. However, as a finance major currently working as a bartender, I'm skeptical. I checked salary websites, and the figures don’t seem to align with what the recruiter stated. I'm questioning whether this opportunity is too good to be true, especially since I know that in sales, a lot depends on whether the quotas are attainable.
