I applied for a position at a hotel a few days ago and received an email instructing me to call the department Director. When I called, she mentioned she was busy and would return my call in 30 minutes, but I never heard back. After waiting for four hours, I tried calling again, but there was no answer, so I left a voicemail. Feeling a bit discouraged since this is the first response I've had in two months, I'm considering going to the hotel tomorrow to drop off my resume and speak with someone in HR or management if I don't hear back today. However, I've seen mixed advice about whether this is a good idea. Some say it could be frowned upon, while others suggest it's a proactive approach. I'm really eager to get my foot in the door and explore any opportunity.
