Navigating Job Search Frustrations After Completing My Ph.D.

I've been job hunting since early 2025 after completing my Ph.D. and I'm feeling quite frustrated. I'm open to both academia and industry roles because I genuinely enjoy the science aspect of my work. I've had a few interviews recently, and while the feedback has been positive—people say they were impressed with my work—they ultimately choose candidates with more relevant skill sets. I understand that, but it still stings. My career has shown that I can quickly learn new skills and produce results, which is something I take pride in. I really want to convey my ability to learn and adapt to potential employers. It feels like luck hasn't been on my side lately, and navigating the job market is proving to be quite challenging. If anyone has tips or advice on how to improve my chances, I would greatly appreciate it!
