Seeking advice on negotiating severance after layoff from Centene

I was recently laid off from Centene while I was on military leave, which is particularly frustrating since this is the third time I've faced layoffs in my career. I had been with the company for over a year and received a severance package of 14 weeks, which is less than I was hoping for. I was supposed to receive differential pay during my military deployment, and after some back-and-forth discussions, they agreed to pay me the remaining amount owed, but I had to negotiate to get it up to 14 weeks. I initially wanted to accept the severance and move on, but I asked for a gross-up and they denied my request. This led me to consult with a lawyer, who indicated that the severance offer is low and that I might be able to negotiate for more. However, I'm also considering just accepting the offer to avoid further stress. I've already secured a new job, although it pays less, the work-life balance is much better. I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experience negotiating with Centene for better severance and if it’s worth pursuing further. I have two weeks to make a decision.
