Feeling hopeless after 2 years of job searching with limited success in Canada

I've been job searching for almost 2 years now and I'm feeling really depressed about it. I'm 28 and living in Canada, where I have a B.A. in International Development and an M.A. in Political Science. Despite my efforts, I've only landed 2 interviews during this entire period. I work with a career counselor who reviews my job descriptions and tailored applications, and they say everything looks fine, but I'm still not getting any traction. I recently switched my CV from two pages to one, hoping that might help. However, I worry that my experience isn't enough. I worked full-time for a year in 2023-2024, had a 3-month internship during my M.A., and completed some summer administrative internships, along with a year of volunteering in advocacy. Currently, I'm doing some consulting work for my parents, but it feels insignificant since it's just a registered trademark with only the two of us involved, and there's no online presence. I see my peers advancing in their careers while I'm stuck in this rut, which makes me feel even worse about my situation. It's been almost 2 years, and I'm honestly feeling super ashamed and hopeless. What would you do in my position?
