I was recently made redundant due to a company restructuring, and now I'm on the lookout for a new career direction that aligns with my skills and experience. My background includes key account management, sales in both B2B and B2C, and some low-level data analysis, along with experience in supply chain processes. I'm interested in roles such as Business Operations Manager, Operations Manager, PMO/Project Coordinator, International Sourcing Specialist, Procurement Specialist, Vendor Coordinator, Commercial Coordinator, and Supplier Relationship Manager. My goal is to shift away from sales-heavy positions and focus more on internal processes, coordination, research, and problem-solving. With nearly 11 years of experience, I want to ensure that I don't take a step back in my career. I'm eager to connect with anyone currently in these roles to gain real-world insights. Specifically, I would love to know what your day-to-day tasks look like, what aspects of your job you enjoy or find challenging, how stressful the work is, and what skills are crucial for success. Additionally, I'm curious if the responsibilities in these roles often overlap and if there are any other job titles I should consider that might suit my background. I prefer home office jobs but am open to hybrid models. Any advice or examples from your experiences would be greatly appreciated!
