Navigating the Challenge of Providing Professional References After Interviews

I recently completed two rounds of interviews for a position that I felt went really well. The interviewer seemed to think I was a strong candidate, and I felt a good rapport with her. However, as I prepared for the final interview with the management team, she requested that I provide three professional references. This has become a bit of a hurdle for me since my work history is limited. I've only held two jobs before this: one was a remote freelance position where I had minimal interaction with colleagues or supervisors, and the other was a job from a few years ago where I'm pretty sure my supervisor wouldn't remember me at all. I'm in a bit of a bind because I don't have anyone to list as a reference. I considered being upfront about my situation and mentioning that I always give my best effort and have never had issues at any job, but I'm unsure if that would be effective or just seem like a red flag. I'm contemplating whether I should try to find friends or family to act as references, even if it's not ideal. Any advice on how to navigate this would be appreciated.
