I am currently facing a frustrating situation with my unemployment benefits in Virginia. I was laid off back in May and have been trying to navigate the system ever since. For the weeks ending on July 25 and August 1, I see that my payments have been stuck in processing for weeks. I reached out to the unemployment office on Monday to inquire about the delay, but the representative I spoke with couldn't provide any explanation. She mentioned that she 're-sent' the payments and assured me that the funds would arrive in my account within 24-72 hours. However, it's now Saturday, and I still haven't seen any of that money on my Virginia prepaid card. This ongoing issue, combined with an active appeal regarding a missed call about part-time employment, has left me feeling quite helpless. I was advised back in July to keep filing for benefits, but despite my efforts, I haven't received any of the 'paid to date' funds.
