I’m currently in California and I’m almost out of my unemployment insurance funds. My claim balance shows just $450 left, which will be paid out the week of July 5th. Normally, I receive $900 every two weeks, so this amount is really stressing me out as it won't cover my expenses. I'm still searching for a job but haven't found anything yet. I'm trying to figure out how extensions work for unemployment benefits. I've heard that there aren't any extensions available right now unless you're in an official training program, which I didn't apply for within the first 16 weeks of my benefits. I'm feeling pretty panicked about my situation.
