Navigating the Job Market: Seeking Advice on Tailoring My Resume for Survival Jobs

I recently found myself unemployed and am currently navigating the job market, which has been incredibly tough. I have a degree and experience as a supply chain coordinator, but I'm looking to secure a survival job as a cashier or barista at places like grocery stores or Starbucks while I continue my search for a position in my field. My concern is that I might be overqualified for these roles, and I'm unsure how to tailor my resume to avoid being dismissed outright. I'm considering simplifying my resume to highlight my customer service skills, reliability, and availability, but I'm hesitant to lie about my intentions, such as claiming I'm going back to school for my master's degree. I'm seeking advice on how to present myself effectively without scaring off potential employers.
