I've been navigating the job search lately, and it's been quite a rollercoaster. I can handle rejection; it stings, but at least I know where I stand. However, what’s really been getting to me is being ghosted after interviews. I've gone through multiple rounds, put in hours of preparation, and then... nothing. No rejection email, no updates—just silence. It leaves me replaying every answer in my head, questioning if I messed up or if the job was never really available. I understand that companies are busy and receive tons of applications, but after reaching the interview stage, a simple update would feel so much more respectful. I'm trying to figure out how to not take this silence personally and keep my motivation up during this lengthy job search.
