I have a degree in library and information science, but I've been struggling to find a job in that field. My friends suggested that I should take any job to build my resume, so I took their advice and have been working at a cafe for the past four months. This experience has helped me develop customer service skills and improved my confidence in communication. Now, I'm considering applying for library or archive positions again, even though my experience in that specific field is limited. The cafe job is the longest I've held, and I'm wondering if this general job experience is enough to start applying.
