I just had my final interview for a position I really want, and I'm stuck in my head about it. After the interview, I sent personalized thank you emails to each panelist, which is something I always do. One of them replied, saying they were impressed with my resume and skills, and that they were excited to find out what comes next. Now I'm overanalyzing the message. My girlfriend thinks it sounds positive, like they are eager to move forward with me, but I can't help but feel it might mean I should keep looking elsewhere. I won't hear back until next week, so I'm trying to stay hopeful but it's tough. Any advice on how to interpret this? Am I being too pessimistic?
