I recently learned about layoffs at Truist, and it’s disheartening news. I'm particularly concerned about the impact in South Carolina, especially within the IT department. I’ve been trying to gather information on how many employees were affected, but details seem scarce. The comments I’ve seen suggest that this might be part of a larger trend among banks to reduce their workforce. It feels like we’re entering a tough phase for job security in the financial sector.
