I am thrilled to share that after two years of unemployment, which included a few temporary jobs here and there, I finally landed a permanent position! I found this opportunity on LinkedIn, and it was not one of those Easy Apply jobs. The role is remote, which is a huge plus for me. I honestly have no idea how my resume stood out enough for real hiring managers to notice it, but I must have done something right during the interviews because they went really well. To my surprise, I didn’t even need to negotiate my salary; they offered me the top of the range they advertised. I’m still in a bit of shock and trying to fully embrace this moment of celebration!
