Transitioning from Account Executive to Personal Trainer: Embracing a New Career Path

I was recently laid off from my position as an Account Executive at a tech company, and honestly, I'm done with the whole industry. It feels like a lot of my friends in tech—developers, salespeople, marketers—are also facing layoffs. The experience has been incredibly disheartening, and I’ve grown tired of the corporate environment, the humiliation rituals, and working for people I feel are less competent than me. It's just not worth it anymore. In light of this, I've decided to pursue my passion for fitness. I’ve been coaching friends, family, and colleagues informally for the past five years, and now I’m taking the leap to get my personal training license and make it my full-time career. I wish everyone else who has been laid off the best of luck in their journeys! If anyone is interested in a couple of free online fitness coaching sessions in exchange for a case study, feel free to reach out to me.
