I recently had an interesting experience with a startup called VRAET. They found my profile on LinkedIn and then reached out to me through Indeed. Initially, they contacted me via text and asked a series of legitimate questions about my background and experience. After that, they informed me that their board communicates through Signal, which was a bit unusual but intriguing. I had a video call with one of the board members through Signal as the next step in the interview process. So far, they haven't requested any personal information from me, which I found reassuring. I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences with this company or their interview process.
