I’ve been stuck in a frustrating cycle with my employer where it feels like they’re just playing a game of hiring and firing. I’ve been with the company for less than a year, and I’ve already experienced being laid off and then rehired through a different temp agency. It’s like they can’t decide if they want me or not, and it feels really toxic. I’ve noticed that they treat their workforce like gig workers, bringing us in for specific projects and then letting us go until they need us again. It’s hard to see this as a sustainable strategy for either the company or the employees.
