Before that, I had quit my previous job without notice due to serious safety concerns that I felt wouldn't be addressed. I know it was unprofessional, but the situation was dire. After waiting six weeks for my unemployment claim to process, I reached out to my state representative for help. I learned that the unemployment office is currently adjudicating my case, but there's a chance I might not be eligible for benefits. I'm really worried that quitting my last job is going to affect my eligibility. I've spent a lot of money trying to relocate to central Oregon in search of better job opportunities, especially since I couldn't find any work in southern Oregon. Now, I'm feeling hopeless as my phone is about to be shut off, my tires are bald, and my insurance has been canceled.
