I applied for a job a few months ago that I found interesting, but I forgot about it until I was laid off last month. The day after my layoff, a recruiter from that company reached out to me, and I was able to schedule an interview. The interview went well, and they mentioned they liked me and would get back to me in a couple of weeks. To my surprise, they contacted me just two days later to move forward to the next step, which was an interview with the VP. That interview took place on Thursday, and the VP expressed that I would be a great fit for the role, saying they would reach out early this week for next steps or possibly an interview with the CFO if he had time. However, as Wednesday is almost over and I haven't heard anything yet, I'm unsure whether I should follow up with the recruiter tomorrow morning or wait until Monday.
