Applied for higher-paying jobs to manage rising living costs in New York

I’m a 31-year-old working a typical 9-5 job in New York, but I’m feeling the pinch of rising living costs and inflation. My salary hasn’t kept pace, and I’m starting to struggle between paychecks. Unfortunately, there are no opportunities for advancement at my current job, and despite applying for higher-paying positions, I haven’t had any luck yet. In the meantime, I’m on the lookout for part-time gigs that don’t involve customer service or face-to-face interactions. I’ve spent my teens and twenties working in fast food and as a barista, and I really don’t want to go back to that kind of work. I’m open to suggestions for side gigs that could help me manage my finances better. I live close to New York City but not in the city itself, so I’m hoping to find something flexible that can fit around my current schedule.
