I've been applying for various jobs in the mining, oil field, and factory sectors, but I'm facing a frustrating barrier: every position seems to require experience that I simply don't have. It's disheartening because I really want to start working, but it feels impossible to get my foot in the door when employers are looking for candidates with a ton of qualifications for low-paying jobs, like $19 an hour. I just don't understand how this system works. How can I gain experience if no one is willing to hire me? I've considered reaching out to people who work in these industries to build connections, but I'm also worried about the physical toll these jobs can take on my health for such a low wage. I’ve been unemployed for years and it feels like the requirements have only gotten stricter, with many jobs now asking for 3-5 years of experience and references.
