Navigating honesty in job interviews after a challenging departure

I recently left my job due to a terrible experience with my manager. I tried to address my concerns with their boss, but it turned into a disastrous meeting where I felt completely unsupported. Ultimately, I made the tough decision to quit without giving notice. Now, during an interview for a new position, I panicked when asked if I would provide two weeks' notice if hired. I instinctively said yes, wanting to make a good impression, but the truth is I'm currently unemployed. I'm feeling lost about whether I should have been honest about my situation or if I should address it now. I really want this new job but I also don't want to start off on the wrong foot by lying.
