Struggling to Find Job Opportunities While Pursuing My CDL License

I’m a 21-year-old currently struggling to find a job, and it feels like an impossible task these days. I’ve applied to over 500 positions this year, but I haven’t received a single acceptance. I’m working towards getting my CDL license, which is my main focus, but I need something to sustain me while I study. I’ve been hitting up local job sites, but the pay is disheartening—most offers are around $10 to $15 an hour. I’ve also been facing challenges with drug testing. I’ve been sober for 30 days because I want to secure my CDL, but I’m frustrated that many places still test for THC. It makes me question whether it’s worth it to give up something I enjoy for such low-paying jobs. I thought summer might bring better opportunities, but it seems like all the roles have already been filled by high school and college students. I keep going through interviews and phone calls, but nothing is coming together. It’s exhausting and disheartening, and I’m starting to feel like I might have to consider other options just to make ends meet.
