I recently had my hours cut at the restaurant where I work. Initially, I was getting good hours, but now they've reduced them because business has slowed down. Not only did they give me more days off, but they also started sending me home earlier, citing high labor costs. I can't help but wonder why they chose to send me home instead of one of the other workers, especially since I've only been there for a short time. Last week, it was a completely different story; my boss was constantly asking me to come in earlier or stay longer than my scheduled shifts. It's frustrating to see such a drastic change in my hours.
