Navigating Anxiety After Accepting a New Tech Job: My Journey Ahead

I recently accepted a new job in the tech industry, which is a big change for me. My previous role was somewhat similar, but the pace was much slower and the subject matter is quite different. Now, I'm feeling a lot of anxiety about whether I can handle the demands of this new position. I'm worried that I won't be able to learn everything quickly enough, and that I might end up failing. The thought of getting laid off and regretting my decision to leave my comfortable job is really weighing on me. I've been wondering how common it is to be let go for poor performance in a new role. I know this fear is normal, and I've received some encouraging comments from others who have reassured me that my new employer believes in my abilities. Still, the idea of underperforming and being seen as a failure is daunting. I just hope I can rise to the occasion.
