I’m currently working at a golf course and I’ve been trying to transition into the banking sector, specifically as a bank teller or relationship banker. However, I keep facing rejections due to my lack of banking experience, which has been really discouraging. I genuinely want to learn and grow in this field, but it feels like I’m not getting a fair shot. I’ve received some advice to highlight my customer service skills and cash handling experience from my current job in my applications, and to consider applying to smaller local branches that might be more willing to train someone without a banking background. I’m going to take that advice and keep pushing forward.
