I recently got laid off from my job as a District/Territory Sales Manager due to a site closure, and I'm now seeking a stable career path in the Chicagoland area. I'm 36 years old and have over 7 years of experience in tech account management, where I managed operations for multiple retail stores and consistently exceeded revenue targets. Additionally, I have 2 years of experience in logistics, working at an Amazon Fresh facility and previously as a UPS loader. I hold a Network Associate Certificate in network administration, which has given me a solid understanding of IT support, although I haven't worked as a hands-on engineer. I'm also bilingual, which I believe could be an asset in many roles. I'm looking for positions that offer stability and good benefits, preferably with established employers or in government programs. A key priority for me is to find a role with a short commute or remote/hybrid options, as I'm quite burnt out from my previous job's extensive travel. I'm also hoping to find companies that have favorable hiring practices regarding THC screening. If anyone has suggestions for specific roles or companies in the area that align with my background and preferences, I would greatly appreciate your insights!
