I was laid off again from PayPal, where I had worked for 6.5 years. I climbed the ranks to a supervisor position but faced my first layoff in 2024. After a year and a half, I decided to reapply for a lower position that offered a higher salary. Unfortunately, less than six months into that role, my department was laid off again. It's been quite the roller coaster, and now I'm seriously considering a career change.
