I recently reached the final round of interviews for a position at a financial advisor firm, which is technically my third round in the candidate process. I'm scheduled for a half/full day in-person event where I'll be meeting with multiple interviewers. However, I'm still uncertain about the salary range for the position, as it wasn't listed in the job posting. I'm contemplating whether it's appropriate to ask the recruiter for this information before the event. I want to avoid giving the impression that I'm solely focused on salary, but I also have to take a PTO day from my current job to attend this event. Fortunately, the firm is located nearby, so travel won't be an issue. I'm looking for advice on how to navigate this situation, especially as someone early in my career.
