I recently applied for a job at a company where I had previously interviewed for a similar position earlier this year. I made it to the final round but unfortunately received a thoughtful rejection from the hiring manager, who encouraged me to keep an eye out for future openings. Now that another position has opened up, I decided to reapply. I'm considering reaching out to the hiring manager to let her know that I've reapplied, as I think it could help my chances. Based on advice I've received, reminding her of my previous application might jog her memory and show my continued interest in the company.
