I'm starting a new job next Monday and I'm currently going through the onboarding process, but I'm feeling a bit anxious. Ever since I accepted the offer two weeks ago, I haven't had any human contact—no emails or phone calls. Instead, I've just been getting automated tasks through an onboarding portal. I know there's probably someone behind the scenes managing this, but it would be nice to hear from a real person, especially since I have some questions about the process and whether my equipment for remote work is being sent. Has anyone else experienced this and still managed to start on time? I understand that automation is common in larger companies, but a little human outreach would really help ease my concerns.
