I just received a rejection email from a company I never actually applied to. I had started filling out an application through their icims system but didn’t complete it or submit it. A couple of weeks ago, I even got an automated reminder to finish my application, but I didn’t think much of it. Today, I was surprised to find a rejection email waiting for me. It’s baffling to get rejected for something I didn’t even apply for!
