Deciding Between Resigning or Using PTO as an ER Secretary Amid Relocation

Today, I faced a tough decision about my job as an ER secretary. I've been working here for 8 months and have really enjoyed my time, but I need to relocate for my partner's big promotion. He'll be making over 2.5 times my salary, which makes this move necessary for us. I'm torn between putting in my two weeks' notice or just calling out for my next shifts to use my accrued PTO. Since I've worked here for less than a year, I won't get paid out for my 65 hours of PTO if I resign properly. If I call out instead, I can use most of my PTO, but that feels unfair to my coworkers who have been supportive. I feel like I've gone above and beyond for this company, and now I’m stuck in a situation where I either lose my earned time off or potentially hurt my colleagues. I know I won’t be coming back to this job, so I’m really conflicted about what to do. Should I prioritize my own needs or consider the impact on my team?
