I recently accepted a new job in NYC after spending five years at my first agency, which has been a remote position since I graduated college. As the start date approaches in just five days, I'm feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. It's a big change, and while I'm eager to meet new people and embrace a different routine, I can't shake the nerves. I haven't officially resigned from my current job yet since my background check is still pending, but I plan to do so as soon as it clears. I'm worried about giving only 3-4 days' notice, but I know that in this industry, things can be unpredictable. I hope my current employer understands, but I'm also aware that this is a small world, and I don't want to burn any bridges. Has anyone else experienced similar feelings when transitioning to a new job? Any advice would be appreciated!
